I have a problem with "roads and street" button. When I press this buutton, nothing happened.

I have an AgGPS receiver which I use for cutting my cornmaze the last two years. I had an issue last fall with it where it stopped working. I sent it to the dealer that I sent it to and he said it was a cabling issue as the receiver worked with his cabling. I then purchased a new cable. However, I have since tried to get the laptop to connect to the receiver (via agremote and site mate-trac mate) to no success. I have replaced the cables and gender adapter.

Windows 7 laptop
usb to serial is windows 7 compatible
new gender adapter
new cable to receiver --> 9 pin

Still get error that I am unable to open port to configure baud rate (agremote)

Does any one have any ideas?

Creating zip file from Console Data card and uploading file

If you have XP or Vista you have a built in zip process.

Here are the steps to follow:

1. Place the SD Card into appropriate card reader drive.
2. Right click on the computer Start button and left click on Explore.
3. Use the scroll bar on the left hand section to locate the drive reading the card and highlight.
4. This will display the data files/folders found on the card on the right hand side.
5. Hold down on the ctrl key on keyboard and left click on all items displayed.
6. After all items have been highlighted, right click on one of the highlighted files, select Send To and then select Compressed zip file.
7. Windows will then compress all the selected files into one file with a .zip file extension right on the same storage card. (It will name this file whatever the last file name in your highlighted list was called).
8. When you click on the link I provided follow these steps to upload:

Click on the Words "Upload Here".

1 When the small upload box appears click on the button called Browse.

2. Change the Look In box to where you the .zip file. In your case this will be the drive reading the storage card.

3. Highlight the file name and click Open.

4. When you have returned back to the previous screen, click on the button called Upload below the file name box.

5. You will see the process bar and will receive a message when upload is complete. (DO NOT close this window until upload is complete)

6. Send an email to tell me that your file is on our web site along with the file name to kathy@farmworks.com. Here are the stepa to make a journal entry.

1. Go to Accounting-GL-Input Journal Entry.
2. Enter the total dollar amount of uncashed checks.
3. Highlight the Checking account name.
4. Click the Debit button.
5. Then if not wanting Expense reduction, enter same dollar amount. Highlight your Equty - Owner Name (Proprietorship books) or Retained Earnings - Unappropriated (Corporation books).
6. Click Credit Button.
7. Enter date for first day of new accounting year.
8. Enter a breif memo description.
9. Record and Done.

If wanting to reduce this year expense:

1. Follow steps 1 - 4.
2. Enter dollar amount for total of first expense and highlight. Click the Credit button. Repeat until all expenses have been entered matching total from step 2.
3. Then follow steps 7-9.
